This comprehensive one-hour examination and assessment is suitable for all adults wanting an impartial and unbiased understanding of their hearing health and suitability for hearing aids. Also suitable for GP and specialist referrals, NDIS applications, employment screenings or personal injury claims.

This assessment will give you a clear understanding of your unique hearing strengths and limitations and allow you to be an informed participant in your hearing rehabilitation process.

Children's Audiological Assessment

Price:$145

Typically including;
• case history discussion,
• otoscopic examination,
• tympanometry test,
• pure tone audiometry test,
• acoustic reflex testing,
• referral to government-assisted rehabilitation pathways where appropriate.
This comprehensive one-hour examination and assessment are suitable for diagnosis of hearing problems in school-aged children. Referral to GP or specialist and referral to government-assisted rehabilitation.

This assessment provides parents and care givers with a clear understanding of their child’s unique hearing circumstances. Options with regards to further examination or rehabilitation are fully explained.

Hearing Aid Fitting

Price:$450

(Free for Pensioners and DVA cardholders)
Our fitting service involves 3 sessions.
Expect one hour for the initial appointment and 30-45 mins for each follow-up appointment, held 1-week and 6-months after your initial fitting.
We follow the gold standard prescriptive method established by the National Acoustics Laboratory of Australia to fit and adjust your hearing aids correctly.

Typically including;
• otoscopy,
• REM probe tube measurements,
• speech mapping,
• localisation and balance check,
• loudness comfort check,
• retention and comfort check,
• speech in noise test,
• counselling on management (including dexterity issues), communication tactics, acclimatisation and hearing aid maintenance,
• assistance with technology integration.

Expect your hearing aids to perform at their optimal levels as a result of these consultations. With patience and attention to detail we deliver the maximum comfort and audibility of speech your hearing aids can offer, regardless of where they were purchased.

Hearing Aid Adjustment

Price:$145

(Free for Pensioners and DVA cardholders)

This 30-45 min appointment is conducted annually for our existing patients. It is also for people who already wear hearing aids but feel they aren’t working as well as they would like.

May include any or all of the following;
• otoscopy,
• pure tone audiometry,
• tympanometry,
• case history review,
• review of rehabilitation goals and progress,
• REM probe tube measurements,
• speech mapping,
• localisation and balance check,
• loudness comfort check,
• retention and comfort check,
• speech in noise test,
• counselling on management (including dexterity issues), communication tactics, acclimatisation and hearing aid maintenance,
• assistance with technology integration.

This is an essential part of ongoing hearing rehabilitation as it allows us to monitor your hearing for any changes, reprogram your hearing aids as required and service you hearing aids keeping them in top condition.
